RSF Social Finance seeks to hire an Administrative Assistant who aspires to apply his/her professional experience, creative capacity, and relationship skills to support a social mission dedicated to a more just and sustainable world. The Administrative Assistant will be primarily responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to RSF’s President & CEO and the Chair of the Board.Other Duties Include:

  • Scheduling meetings, events, and managing calendars
  • Composing correspondence
  • General administrative office support on a case-by-case basis
  • Coordinating travel arrangements
  • Compiling & submitting expense reports
  • Maintaining mileage logs
  • Completing data entry, maintenance and mail merges
  • Copying, scanning, collating, and mailing
  • Preparing of collateral packages, mailing, coordinating meetings, general administrative support for Client Development team
  • Assisting with the planning of Board meetings/retreats

The successful candidate will have:

  • A deep interest in the mission of RSF Social Finance
  • Strong organizational skills, patience, courtesy, and a positive spirit
  • An associate’s degree (required) or bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • A minimum of one year of professional office experience in an administrative role (required)
  • Work or volunteer experience in the nonprofit and/or social finance sector
  • Good verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and listening skills
  • The ability to take initiative and to independently make decisions regarding scheduling, travel arrangements, and other matters
  • The ability to effectively use standard business software such as Microsoft Office; and to use the Internet for research and information-gathering
  • Last, but far from least, we are seeking someone with a truly open, enthusiastic, curious and helpful spirit, deeply interested in issues of social importance
