Location: Utah
This position requires an experienced communicator with well-honed writing skills to develop feature articles, news releases and other written material. This includes maintaining and providing information for the Western SARE website.
The ability to review, edit and rewrite material written by others, including reports submitted on activities conducted under grants from Western SARE is also required. Knowledge of agriculture is essential. Knowledge of sustainable agriculture is a plus, as is the ability to take photos and video.
The Western SARE Communications Specialist is a ‘full-time equivalent’ position contracted through Utah State University (USU) as an ‘independent contractor.’ The position can be located anywhere in the Western Region, but preference is given to those in close proximity to USU.
