BOOK RESEARCH INTERNSHIP
I am a Chicago-based writer working on a book called Seasonal Markets of the Heartland, to be published by University of Illinois Press. Last summer and fall I took off in my sporty red Mustang to explore farmers markets in eight states: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa and Missouri. Now back at my desk in Chicago, I find a need for a detail-oriented intern to help pull together the final sections. The book will be 65,000 words (about 250 pages) with about 80 color photographs.
