This is an unpaid, voluntary position requiring a minimum of two hours/week, and up to 8 hours depending on the interest and availability of the volunteer. Our small school has 40 students in the entire student body and four dedicated teachers. We have small garden beds throughout the school yard and seek a volunteer with some knowledge of organic gardening in the tropics to help us expand the garden, make better use of our space, maintain supplies and teach gardening lessons to groups of about 10 students at time. Knowledge of native Hawaiian history and agriculture would be a plus. Students range in age from 5 to 11.
