Community FARE supports efforts to grow healthy, local food by fostering collaborative partnerships and providing resources and education for diverse individuals, schools, and organizations who want to grow gardens in underutilized spaces.
Our organization seeks a Web and Social Media Intern meeting the following criteria:
- Basic web design and maintenance skills
- Social media experience (Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Youtube, etc.)
- Ability to work 10 hours per week
- Proximity to Downtown Frederick
The Web and Social Media Intern will be tasked with completing, launching and maintaining www.communityfare.org including events and project updates, integrating new technologies and special projects as needed. Additional tasks include keeping up- to-date with the social media aspects of Community FARE and networking with similar organizations and those who support our mission. This internship is unpaid but can be applied towards high school or college credit. Intern is expected to conduct him or herself in a professional manner when representing the organization, and will be treated as a valued partner in return. Please apply to:
