The Seafood Watch Partnership Program Manager is a position within the Seafood Watch program of the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Center for the Future of the Oceans. The Manager’s role is to maintain and strategically enhance a national network of more than 200 Conservation Outreach Partners including zoos, aquariums, businesses and restaurants. The position monitors, empowers and advises our partners in communicating and conducting outreach activities that raise awareness about sustainable seafood and contribute to the Seafood Watch program’s strategic conservation goals.
Required Knowledge/Experience
A degree or substantial experience in communications or marketing.
A degree in or substantial experience in biological sciences and marine conservation issues.
Knowledge in working with restaurants or retailers preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experienced and proficient public speaker.
