The No Impact Project invites Applicants for Eco-Leader Training

8 Nov

The No Impact Project would like to invite the Sustainable Food Jobs community to join us for our Eco-Leader Training, January 7-9th, in Rosendale, NY. This Training is an opportunity for community leaders and activists from a number of backgrounds to come together and learn how to empower their communities to take action to find solutions to our environmental crises.

The Eco-Leader Training will take place at Lifebridge Sanctuary, a certified green facility, on 95 acres of woodlands in the Catskills Mountains. During this all-expenses paid weekend, attendees will take part in a dynamic series of workshops and learns with inspirational community leaders and activists from the environmental movement. They will become equipped to use the No Impact Week, an immersive, fun, weeklong experiment in low impact living, as a tool for building an environmentally conscious, action-oriented community.

You can find more information, and a link to the application, here: http://bit.ly/d71aAq. Applications are due November 15th.
