Massachusetts: Farm Aid seeks Director of Operations

Farm Aid is looking for a full-time Director of Operations to join its 12-person office in Cambridge, MA.  The Director of Operations will serve as administrator of the day-to-day operations of the $2-million annual revenue organization. Working closely with the Associate Director, the D/O will lead all aspects of the organization’s human resources, operations, financial, legal filings and requirements.  The immediate and ongoing goal of this position is to strengthen and maintain the internal capacity of the organization.  The position requires a solid knowledge of non-profit management, and financial and organizational systems to foster lively collaboration.  We value direct, open, transparent communication and inclusive decision-making. Skills required: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as a solid understanding of Filemaker Pro and general database principles.    
A college degree is required, with 5+ years of related experience. Looking for a candidate who is highly organized, attentive to detail, with caring attention to the whole of the organization with its dynamic, non-profit event-oriented culture. Seeking someone with a sense of humor, integrity, and flexibility.
