Frost Valley Farm Camp is located in the Catskill Mountains of NY. Our summer camp staff live, work and play together on a beautiful farm with 8-15 year old campers. The program combines fun summer camp activities with farm education and sustainable living. Our 20 staff members love working with children, have strong teaching and counseling abilities and come from a variety of backgrounds. We are hiring (14) Summer Camp Counselors, an Animal Specialist, and a Garden Specialist.
Part of our “classroom” is a 5-acre garden where campers experience self-sustainability and growing healthy food. During their time here they will learn about planting, weeding, composting, natural mulching, harvesting, and food preserving.
Our large red barn and lush pastures are home to sheep, goats, cows, pigs, donkeys, ducks, a llama and a flock of laying hens. Farm campers will interact with the animals, performing chores, learning how to care for them, and understanding their importance on sustainable farms.
