The Chez Panisse Foundation (CPF) and Chez Panisse Restaurant (CPR) are offering an unpaid internship to students or recent graduates wishing to gain experience in a stimulating and fast-paced work environment. The intern will support the Event Production staff as they prepare for this summer’s 40th Birthday of CPR, assisting with a variety of activities related to the logistics of organizing series of events. Responsibilities include day-to-day tasks and short-term projects.
About the Foundation
CPF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Alice Waters in 1996. CPF is committed to transforming public education by operating and supporting programs that use food traditions to teach, nurture, and empower young people. www.chezpanissefoundation.org.
About the Restaurant
CPR was started by Alice Waters and a group of friends in 1971. From the beginning, the restaurant championed fresh, organic and locally grown products. Although a novelty at the time, these values have been brought into the mainstream by Chez Panisse and Alice Waters. www.chezpanisse.com.
