New York State: Corbin Hill Road Farm seeks Produce Manager

3 Feb
Corbin Hill Road Farm, LLC (CHRF or the “Farm”) is a unique values- driven social enterprise whose mission is to distribute fresh produce to those most in need.  CHRF accomplishes this by aggregating fresh produce from among the farmers in Schoharie and surrounding counties in upstate New York.  CHRF has two programs: a Farm Share (adapted CSA) program designed to meet the needs of low-income communities, and a wholesale distribution service (“Wholesale”) provides fresh produce year-round to schools, early childhood centers, and community food businesses in Harlem and the South Bronx—institutions located within food deserts. In its first year the Farm Share served 281 families in the South Bronx and Harlem exceeding its first year enrollment goal by 160%.  In year two of its operation CHRF’s goal is to reach 1000 Farm Shares.
