Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining building, grounds, machinery, equipment and all infrastructure systems on a 24 acre, organic produce and livestock farm located 20 minutes north of Portland, Oregon. Applicants should have a background in facilities management, general construction, machinery, electrical and irrigation systems and be familiar with a farm environment. The Facilities Manager must understand the importance of a holistic, systems approach and be reliable, detail-oriented and efficient. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational skills, a strong work ethic, is adept at problem solving and inherently values small, rural communities as well as organic, sustainable agriculture. Compensation commensurate with experience. Flexible schedule, 1-2 days per week starting mid-March.
