New Hampshire: The New Hampshire Farm Museum seeks Intern

The New Hampshire Farm Museum in Milton, New Hampshire seeks a resident intern interested in learning how to grow organically. Intern will work with an experienced organic farmer growing vegetables and small fruits for market and for our newly launched CSA. Intern can learn all aspects of running a small farm. Intern will spend most their time in the fields planting and harvesting but will be trained to lead farm tours for the general public, care for our farm animals, and help with marketing and selling of produce at the farmer’s market and Country store. The right person will be enthusiastic, a hard worker, willing to learn and have at least one summer of experience with growing vegetables.  This position begins late April or early May and runs through early November. BA or Associates Degree required and relevant experience. The NH Farm Museum offers free housing and produce: a room in shared historic farmhouse, including heat and electric, no dogs permitted~ We offer a stipend of $200 per week.
