California: Saul’s Restaurant seeks Chef

Saul’s Restaurant and Deli is a one of a kind establishment – a West Coast Jewish delicatessen and Restaurant in North Berkeley. Saul’s is a full service 110-seat, family owned restaurant, with a busy take-out counter. WE ARE SEEKING A CHEF WITH A PASSIONATE INVESTMENT IN REINVIGORATING AND HELPING CREATE A SUSTAINABLE VISION FOR  THE JEWISH DELI CUISINE.

Primary duties:

· Jewish Deli vernacular specials
· Kitchen Management
· Training/Evaluation of all Kitchen Staff
· Scheduling, Purchasing and Invoice Management

Job requirements:

· Experience as a line cook
· Love of cooking and food and Bay Area ingredients
· Great people skills and demonstrated leadership
· Able to multi-task and stay organized in busy environment
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to speak Spanish
