Terry’s Berries, LLC is seeking a year around, full time grower manager for its 20 acre certified organic vegetable and berry farm for the 2010 season. The farm is located just three miles from Tacoma. This small family farm was established in 1983 and has been certified organic since 1989.

The documentary film, FRESH, is looking for one intern in each of the following cities:  New York, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Austin, Boulder/Denver, Minneapolis and Chicago to publicize and coordinate FRESH Restaurant Week, which will coincide with the theatrical release of FRESH in each of these cities (from April through June).

Classroom in Bloom seeks to fill Several Positions

Classroom in Bloom is a 1/2 acre vegetable and native plant garden on the shared campus of Liberty Bell High School and Methow Valley Elementary School in the Methow Valley School District.  We are looking for applicants with previous experience gardening and teaching kids.  Applicants must have energy to teach all day in a fast paced garden setting and be excited to teach and learn about the life cycle from soil to food.

Sunfield Farm – a Waldorf farm school in Port Hadlock, Washington, area (Olympic Peninsula) – seeks visionary full-time FARMER/EDUCATOR to manage a working farm using biodynamic principles and shape it as a learning environment. Sunfield is an 81-acre property of fields, forests, and wetlands, with grades K–6 on site, and is actively building a K–8 school campus and farm-based community education programs. Successful candidate has biodynamic farming experience, a high level of passion and energy, and excellent communication and management skills. Position requires close partnerships with school faculty, community education staff, and volunteers; motivating and managing others; working with apprentices; developing and managing a small CSA; experience with small and large livestock; managing budgets; and interacting with students and community members of all ages.
