The Big Deal

Why post with SFJ?

As opposed to general career websites, posting on The SFJ Blog lets you target specialized brain power.  Garner a better qualified applicant pool that shares your values for a better food future in America.

To list an opportunity on the site, please e-mail the job description to sustainablefoodjobs@gmail.com (or drop a line through the form below).  We look forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about how it all started…

Most Americans have never heard of the term “sustainable food.”  Tell someone it’s your career focus and be prepared to explain yourself.  Rest assured… this site understands what you mean with no elevator speech required!  As a recent college graduate looking to branch into the world of sustainable food, I had a difficult time knowing where to look for the most up-to-date job opportunities available.  Typically, job listings are dispersed among environmental conservation and individual non-profit websites.  But what if you’re new to this?  That is where this website comes in.

In operation since 2009, the SFJ Blog is the first website to provide you with the most up-to-date job opportunities available in the domestic sustainable food and agriculture sector.

No sifting through search engines.
No green-washing.
No thinly veiled corporate agenda.
Just connecting you to what might possibly be the job opportunity that helps you change the world.

Please note: The listings on this blog are not comprehensive.  For one reason or another, certain listings might not be present on the site.  The SFJ Blog is run on a volunteer basis.  Thank you for understanding.
