The Seafood Watch Partnership Program Manager is a position within the Seafood Watch program of the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Center for the Future of the Oceans. The Manager’s role is to maintain and strategically enhance a national network of more than 200 Conservation Outreach Partners including zoos, aquariums, businesses and restaurants. Since May 2008, Prof. Olivier De Schutter is the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food. Among his tasks, the Special Rapporteur is expected:
- To promote the full realization of the right to food and the adoption of measures at the national, regional and international levels for the realization of the right to food.
- To present recommendations on possible steps with a view to achieving progressively the full realization of the right to food.
