Orwasher’s, New York’s Original Artisan Bakery, is seeking a Farmer’s Market Manager. The Market Manager is responsible for overseeing our participation in a number of Community Markets throughout the Metro New York and Long Island areas.
The Market Manager is responsible for staffing the markets, ensuring and
maintaining proper market stall set up, managing all aspects of market
inventory and sales, and implementing proper accounting and financial
reconciliation procedures. Excellent customer service, an outgoing
personality and the ability to effectively manage a diverse staff at
multiple locations is required.
You must have:
+ Valid drivers license and the ability to drive a small van or truck
+ Supervisory or management experience
+ Strong verbal communications skills and excellent customer service
abilities
+ Ability to work weekends and early mornings
+ Execute physical set up of the markets, including tent and table
set-up
+ A passion for breads hand-made from locally sourced ingredients!
