Harvest Against Hunger, a program of Rotary First Harvest, seeks a part-time intern June 28 through September 24, 2010. This is a great opportunity to work with an innovative organization whose mission is to act as a conduit between food producers and hunger relief agencies in the state of Washington.  Harvest Against Hunger connects surplus produce from farms, markets, and backyard gardeners with hunger relief efforts in local communities throughout Washington.

This internship position will focus on maintaining and developing food recovery projects on farms in King and Snohomish Counties and from farmers markets in Seattle. Continue reading
